Divided into two principal sections, “The Postman Dreams 2” – marking the continuation of the first episode of 2015 – and starring the iconic Prada Galleria bag, and “The Postman’s Gifts . Prada is feting its signature Galleria bag with “The Postman Dreams,” a series of five short movies directed by Autumn de Wilde. To celebrate the launch of its latest Cahier handbag, Prada has teamed up with acclaimed filmmaker Ryan Hope to create a trio of short films. The cinematic project, entitled “The Delivery Man”, features three circa-60-second films, all of which star Academy Award-winning actor JK Simmons as the enigmatic protagonist (the “delivery man”).
Drawing on the screwball comedies of the 1930s, auteur Autumn de Wilde’s short film depicts an absurdist cat-and-mouse game as the eponymous Postman tries to fulfil his duty and deliver his precious cargo - the Prada Galleria bag - to its rightful recipient.Short film | 21mins | Completed.
