Based on the classic Rolex Daytona 116520 in steel with steel bezel, the Artisans de Genève ”La Barrichello” stands out by the way its team has transformed the Rolex calibre 4130 Chronograph, giving the watch a sportier and highly mechanical style. With a staggering 322 starts under his belt, 11 of which resulted in victory, Rubens Barrichello is the most experienced Formula 1 driver of all time. Now the benign Brazilian has joined forces with Artisans de Genève to modify a Rolex Daytona in order to reflect his enduring motorsport career. Once again using the iconic Rolex Daytona as a canvas, this time they have collaborated with Formula One driver Rubens Barrichello to make a Daytona unlike any you’ve seen before. Last year they worked on the world’s first skeleton dial Rolex Daytona, and for this year, the Geneva-based master craftsmen have collaborated with Rubens Barrichello to customize his Rolex Daytona, by adding the mechanical style of racing cars to the watch.
