Unidirectional rotors get spinny in the free non-winding direction which can sometimes be noisy, so avoid those if you don't like rotor noise. Also thinner cases typically provide less noise shielding along with lower water resistance. I have a gen Daytona and you can feel the rotor spinning, especially if you shake it a bit like when I first put it on after not wearing it for a while. But no noise.
